For McGregor, a boxing match is uncharted territory.
While the former UFC lightweight champion has established himself as one of the most feared fighters in combat sports over the past few years, he's never boxed in a professional setting—much less fought against a boxer of Mayweather's caliber.
According to OddsShark, Mayweather is a -800 favorite (bet $800 to win $100), while McGregor is a +500 underdog.
