LAS VEGAS – Sunday night’s TUF 19 Finale event drew an announced attendance of 6,500 and a live gate of $835,000.
UFC President Dana White announced the figures at the night’s post-event news conference, which MMAjunkie attended.
The TUF 19 Finale took place at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. The main card aired on FOX Sports 1 following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
In the main event, Frankie Edgar dominated B.J. Penn in a trilogy fight, getting a third-round TKO stoppage. Penn retired following the fight.
The Nevada State Athletic Commission will verify the figures and is expected to release an official tally later this week.
While the number of “comp” or free tickets was not revealed, the figures represent an average revenue of $128.46 per ticket issued.
