Mayweather-Pacquiao Results: My Parents Are Pissed I Asked Them to Order This Fight

The fight of a generation is done, we’re $100 closer to broke and my parents are pissed about it.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. dodged and countered his way to a unanimous decision over Manny Pacquiao on Saturday in Las Vegas, according to the television I watched from my mom and dad’s couch.

Pacquiao had his moments in the early in the fight, which we tried to focus on while everyone at our house party yelled at the TV and expressed their frustration with Mayweather fighting as Mayweather fights. Even my mom was like “F*ck this sh*t.” Don’t get me started on my dad’s comments, so let’s just see what Manny has to say.

“He didn’t do nothing,” said a defeated Pacquiao, who felt he won the bout against Mayweather.

Yeah, Manny thought he won, and it was probably because he thought there were enough moments like this for the judges to see it his way.

Ultimately, Mayweather went to what he’s best known for, dodging a majority of his opponent’s offense then immediately countering with straight punches that added to his total.

At one point I got really excited because Floyd looked like he planted a front headlock and I instinctually said “GUILLOTINE,” which only further frustrated my dad because he thinks MMA is dumb.

I had it scored evenly through six rounds, but then Floyd seemed to control the pace of every round after that. At one point, my dad turned the living room to the barbershop scene from “Coming to America” and started talking about Joe Lewis and how much better he was than Floyd will ever be.

I tried to make pops smile and break him out of his bad mood, but I failed miserably, as scene in the following video.

Floyd then said he’s fighting in September and nobody sitting around me gave a sh*t. And people in the MGM crowd didn’t seem to care either, which is why Floyd yelled at them all after the fight.
