Charles Oliveira vs Beneil Dariush UFC 289 Vancouver Fight Video Full HD Free Stream Replay Part A

Charles Oliveira vs. Beneil Dariush will face off in the co-main event of UFC 289, which may feature fireworks.

After a disappointing loss to Islam Makhachev last October, Oliveira, the former lightweight champion, is hoping to reclaim the title with this opportunity.

However, Oliveira will first need to defeat a dangerous rival in Dariush in order to achieve that victory.

Dariush has an impressive eight-fight winning streak and, if he fit the mold of a fighter the UFC typically likes to promote, could very well be competing for the championship.

However, the promotion did guarantee Dariush a title shot if he defeated Oliveira this weekend, sweetening the proverbial pot.

Oliveira and Dariush should be the center of attention from a stylistic standpoint, even though part of me despises that these two have to tangle.

Although both men are naturally pressure fighters, Oliveira is more likely to take the initiative.

Oliveria is a challenging dynamo to deal with on the feet because he is an aggressive marauder who enjoys Thai marching behind high guards. The 33-year-old Brazilian can be a lot for anyone when he's feeling in stride, from catch-and-pitch counters to brutal front teeps and the body.

Given Oliveira's sensory preferences, his game doesn't change all that much when he comes up against a southpaw.

Oliveira still prefers to avoid making contact and will use any justification to enter clinch space, which is probably going to be a crucial junction on Saturday night.

In addition to providing violent elbows and knees in close quarters, "Do Bronx" is skilled at delaying these posture-breaking shots into front-choke opportunities.

Oliveira is lethal from the majority of front-headlock variations and will attack with intertwined submission attempts as if he were firing them from an M60 machine gun, regardless of the position.

Oliveira will, however, face off against another high-level grappling ace in Dariush.

As a well-known jiu-jitsu athlete, Dariush entered the fray and under the tutelage of the legendary Rafael Cordeiro, he quickly honed his striking game.

Cordeiro, a former fighter and coach who is related to Oliveira's Chute Boxe team, is skilled at transforming submission grapplers into pressuring strikers( for example, Rafael dos Anjos and Marvin Vettori).

A southpaw should never leave home without Dariush's striking essentials, especially a potent body kick.

The fighter who was born in Iran has improved over the years at counterstriking, which could be useful to him in this situation.
