Video: Watch Alexander Gustafsson maul noted striker Jimi Manuwa

Alexander Gustafsson (16-2 MMA, 8-2 UFC) will soon face a heavy-handed opponent noted for his striking prowess – not that he had any trouble with the last heavy-handed opponent he faced that was noted for his striking prowess.

Gustafsson is currently the UFC light heavyweight division’s top contender, and fans have clamored for a championship rematch between the Swede and Jon Jones after their epic uFC 165 encounter. But Gustafsson had to get though Jimi Manuwa on his road back to Jones, and he handled that test in fine fashion.

Ahead of Gustafsson’s fight with Anthony Johnson (18-4 MMA, 9-4 UFC) at this month’s UFC on FOX 14 event, which takes place at Tele2Arena in Stockholm, watch his UFC Fight Night 37 encounter with Manuwa in the video above. Is it indicative of what we’ll see against Johnson?
