Round 1: Soszynski and Massenzio begin with Massenzio getting an early takedown.  Soszynski gets right back up.  Massenzio goes for another takedown, but it gets stuffed.  The two clinch against the cage before separating a short while later.  Massenzio throws a nice left hook that lands and later gets a double leg takedown.  Soszynski gets back to the feet.  He stuffs another Massenzio takedown and give his opponent a couple punches for good measure.  Big legkick by Soszynski, but Massenzio gets the takedown.  Back on the feet, Messenzio continues to work for takedowns, but Soszynski stops the remaining attempts of the round.  The opening round ends with Massenzio trying to get him down again.

Round 2: Soszynski lands a lowkick and Massenzio tries to get another takedown.  Soszynski stays on top of his opponent and locks on a front headlock.  Messenzio gets up and the two get in a clinch against the cage where Soszynski lands a knee.  Messenzio is continuing to work for takedowns, but he hasn’t gotten one this round.  Every time Messenzio shoots in, Soszynski stuffs the takedown, getting strikes while in the clinch.  The round ends with Soszynski landing some punches on the feet, backing Massenzio up.

Round 3: Soszynski brings in some more offense against Messsenzio in the third.  The fight goes to the ground where Soszynski stays on top of Messezio, landing lots of strikes while controlling his opponent’s back.  Soszynski works his opponent’s wrist, but then works to the side and lands a ton of knees to his opponent’s side.  Messenzio not providing any offense and Soszynski tries to do a schooyard choke.  Messenzio avoids it and the two return to the feet.  The fight goes to the final horn with Messenzio trying to get another takedown, but to no avail.
