TMZ Captures Conor McGregor Flipping Off Photographers at Airport in Ireland

NEW YORK, NY - APRIL 06: Ultimate fighting star Conor McGregor stands with his lawyer Jim Walden during an arraignment in Brooklyn Criminal court on April 6, 2018 in New York City. McGregor is facing criminal charges in the wake of a backstage melee he allegedly instigated that has forced the removal of three fighters from UFC's biggest card of the year. UFC star Conor McGregor has finally returned to Ireland after the violent incident that got him arrested at UFC 223's media day, and he treated photographers to a middle finger upon his arrival at the airport in Dublin.

According to TMZ, McGregor has been out of jail since April 6 but decided to fly to the Bahamas with his partner and child to cool down.

The 29-year-old stole headlines for all the wrong reasons at UFC 223 when he threw a dolly at a bus containing UFC fighters, injuring several in the process, per TMZ Sports.

Here is video of the incident:

The incident decimated the card, resulting in three canceled fights, as reported by Brett Okamoto of ESPN and Ariel Helwani of MMAFighting.com (via Russell Sai of BJPenn.com).

UFC President Dana White was furious with the former featherweight and lightweight champion, going so far as to openly question his future with the organisation:

McGregor hasn't fought in the UFC since 2016, winning the lightweight title off Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205. He then took plenty of time to prepare for a boxing match against Floyd Mayweather Jr., which he lost by stoppage in August 2017.

According to TMZ, McGregor is expected back in Brooklyn for another court date in June.
