Hey Joe, I'm glad you got off that glue. Benny the Jet was good, he had alot of wins, but he wasn't a mixed martial artist, he was a karate champion, and we all saw what happened to karate fighters that came into mma back when Gracie was fighting, since then only Machida has represented karate well, and he uses a modified version with other diciplines. In fact Benny's first loss came as soon as he fought outside his discipline, Muay Thai. UFC is the first organization and still the best where the best of all diciplines have met, there was nothing like it back in the day Benny was fighting. I give Benny his respect but it is stupid and mindless to say he was the best ever mma fighter, when he was not an mma fighter.

Silva isnt the greatest fighter in mma.its just that he is good at what he does and thats standup and he has reach advantage which makes things tough for most fighters when standing.he just hasnt fought the right type of fighter yet.chael did a good job in exposing silvas weakness,but he was missing a key element which is powerful GnP.silva is weak on his back against strong wrestlers, but they have to have strong GnP also.The guys that take silva down never have strong GnP.thats the prob.the guy to beat silva needs high lvl wrestling like sonnen,along with vicious GnP (not those little pillow fist) and unorthadox standup, with long reach. Jon jones anyone?

I say Anderson is not the greatest ever in MMA. I have been following MMA for over 30 years.
The greatest ever is Benny the Jet. Many MMA vets like BJ Penn and others agree. Benny was the most complete fighter ever with 7 black belts by age 21. and had the best record ever in titles of any sport. 63-0.

Chael Sonnen at 205 division? he could kiss his worthless MMA career goodbye, all the 205ers will finish him in a hurry, the guy is worthless, he know it we know it, Brock Lesner was all size didn't do well in UFC so he went back to WWE, good move. this guy is all mouth, so maybe he'd do good commentate for the UFC, that's it.
