Fight Nerd correspondent Syl Peterkin spoke with Daniel Gracie after the "Ultimate Absolute" no-gi grappling tournament this weekend in New York City. Gracie made it into the semi-finals where he was submitted by Vinny Magalhaes, who placed third by the end of the event. Gracie talks about his performance at the event, and also about his MMA career and contract with Bellator FC, and gives advice to BJJ students everywhere.

Fight Nerd correspondant Syl Peterkin spoke with Andre Galvao, the winner of the 16-man one-night "Ultimate Absolute" grappling tournament in NYC this weekend. Galvao defeated Nolan Dutcher in the first round by armbar, then Antonio Neto after 15 minutes of action (10 minute round with a five-minute overtime), followed by Vinny Magalhaes by points after 10 minutes, and finally Rustam Chsiey after going the distance and battling in two overtime rounds!
