Video: Watch a perfectly placed knee lead to a massive face plant KO in Indiana

Regional shows can produce some of MMA’s greatest highlights, but they’re seldom seen by the masses.

But thanks to the crew at the Northwest Indiana-based Hoosier Fight Club, we get another highlight-reel knockout to feast our eyes on from the same event that brought us a head kick that sent four front teeth into the front row.

Quartus Stitt (8-6) has been around for a bit. The Illinois-based fighter had the first bout of his pro career against Neil Magny, who just won his sixth straight welterweight bout in the UFC. That fight in 2011 didn’t go his way, but earlier this month, things sure did.

Stitt found himself clinched up with Kyle Nickle (4-4) at HFC 23 in Valparaiso, Ind., and he unleashed a knee that had Nickle face-planting to the canvas.

Hoosier Fight Club this past November celebrated its fifth birthday. Darren Elkins, Magny and Felice Herrig had fights for HFC before getting the call from the UFC. Keith Wisniewski earned his way back to the UFC thanks to an HFC win over fellow former UFC fighter Chris Wilson. And the promotion has also brought in many UFC, Strikeforce and Bellator veterans for bouts in its cage.

Check out the full fight video above. You’ll want to pay close attention starting around the 2:20 mark for the action leading to the fight-ending knee.
