Video: Nikita Krylov discusses quick win, Fight Finder photo, future at 205

CHICAGO – Nikita Krylov has heard the criticism and agrees: He’s probably best suited for light heavyweight.

The Ukrainian, who tipped the scale at just 218 pounds for today’s UFC on FOX 10 bout with heavyweight Walt Harris (5-3 MMA, 0-2 UFC), said he plans to head to light heavyweight for his next fight. Krylov (16-3 MMA, 1-1 UFC), who was the card’s biggest underdog, will make his 205-pound debut after a stunning 25-second TKO victory over Harris.

The preliminary-card bout, which streamed on UFC Fight Pass from Chicago’s United Center, was the latest in which Krylov shed significant weight during fight camp.

“He has to try once to see how it’ll work … at the lower weight,” Krylov’s translator said.

Check out the full conversation, in which “Al Capone” discusses how he turned things around after a majorly disappointing UFC debut in 2013, as well as an epic Sherdog Fight Finder photo.
