Next month’s UFC on FOX 11 lineup has a 12th bout, and it features two unbeaten featherweights who will make their UFC debut.
UFC officials announced Thursday that Mirsad Bektic (7-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) and Chas Skelly (11-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) will clash at the event.
UFC on FOX 11 takes place April 19 at Amway Center in Orlando. The main card airs on FOX following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
Bektic vs. Skelly will likely be part of the prelims.
Bektic recently knocked out “The Ultimate Fighter” veteran Joe Pearson at Victory Fighting Championship 41. The December victory marked his sixth stoppage win in seven career victories (and his fourth to come in the first round). In addition to VFC, the 23-year-old Bektic has competed for other top regional promotions, including RFA and Titan FC, since his 2011 pro debut.
Skelly, meanwhile, makes his UFC debut after scoring a decision victory over Jarrod Card at Bellator 96. The Team Takedown fighter, who went 3-0 with Bellator since his pro debut in 2009, owns eight stoppages (six submissions) in 11 career victories.
