UFC Stretches Fight Pass Reach to Australia, Signs BRACE MMA

The Ultimate Fighting Championship continues to expand the reach of its UFC Fight Pass digital subscription service, adding Australia’s BRACE MMA fight promotion to the roster.

BRACE MMA has been a staple of the Aussie MMA scene since 2009. Several of the promotion’s fighters are currently on the UFC roster, including Bec Rawlings, Alex Chambers, Ben Alloway, and Richie Walsh.

UFC Fight Pass will begin streaming BRACE MMA live events and the promotion’s fight library later in 2015.

“This is a great day for BRACE and the continued growth of Australian Mixed Martial Arts. Since 2009,” said Kya Pate, BRACE CEO. “We have been committed to providing the biggest and best possible platform for our athletes, have strived to grow the sport of MMA and, with this distribution deal with UFC Fight Pass, BRACE will reach the most passionate MMA fans, wherever they are in the world.”

“We are especially pleased to offer our Australia UFC Fight Pass customers a regular live event in their own time zone, and to give up-and-coming Aussie MMA fighters an international platform to showcase their skills. In addition, UFC Fight Pass will offer its customers the entire fight library from BRACE’s history through its video on demand platform (36 events and counting).

“The addition of BRACE means UFC Fight Pass now live streams exclusive events from seven MMA promotions from around the world: Pancrase, Invicta FC, Shooto Brazil, EFN, Titan FC and of course UFC.”

UFC Fight Pass  members will now have access to the debut fight of UFC women’s strawweight contender Bec Rawlings from 2011 in addition to other classic matches of other current and former UFC competitors including Alex Chambers, Richard Walsh, Ben Alloway, and more.
