UFC Fight Night: Hunt vs. Bigfoot Confirmed for Brisbane, Australia on Dec. 7

Tom Wright, Director of UFC Operations in Australia, New Zealand and Canada, confirmed that UFC Fight Night: Hunt vs. Bigfoot will take place on Dec. 6 (Dec. 7 in Australia) at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.

He made the announcement at a press conference held at the Sofitel Hotel in Brisbane on Monday morning.

The card, which will air on Fox Sports 1 in the U.S., will be headlined by a heavyweight clash between New Zealand’s Mark Hunt and Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva.

The fight will be five rounds, with the rest of the card expected to be announced in the next two to three weeks.

It will be the fifth time that the UFC has visited Australia, with UFC on FX 6 the only other time it was held in the state of Queensland.

Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, Oct. 10, with UFC Fight Club members able to purchase early on Tuesday, Oct. 8.
