UFC Fight Night 86: Damian Stasiak vs. Filip Pejic video highlights

Damian Stasiak didn’t give octagon newcomer Filip Pejic any space on the ground and it led to a quick first-round submission victory.

The bantamweight bout was part of today’s UFC Fight Night 86 preliminary card at Zagreb Arena in Zagreb, Croatia. Like the main card, it aired on FOX Sports 1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass.

Pejic (10-2-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) wanted to strike, but Stasiak (9-3 MMA, 1-1 UFC) was having none of it on the feet, quickly taking the fight to the floor. He was able to quickly take the back after a trip takedown and from there it was only a matter of time before Stasiak was able to secure the rear-naked choke. The tap came at the 2:16 mark of Round 1.
