LONDON – It’s a fight Michael Bisping has wanted for years, but now slated to headline Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 84 event opposite Anderson Silva, is it a wish he’ll regret?
Heading into the bout, which streams on UFC Fight Pass from The O2 in London, former longtime middleweight champion Silva (33-6 MMA, 16-2 UFC) is more than a 3-1 favorite over perennial contender Bisping (27-7 MMA, 17-7 UFC).
But are those odds accurate? Will age finally catch up with Silva, one of MMA’s all-time greats? Can Bisping, who will be the local favorite, pull off the upset and finally make a convincing case for an elusive title shot?
MMAjunkie’s John Morgan and Chamatkar Sandhu break down the stakes and preview the card above.
