UFC Fight Night 45 bonuses: Cerrone, Lineker among $50,000 award winners

ATLANTIC CITY – Donald Cerrone, Lucas Martins, John Lineker and Alptekin Ozkilic each earned $50,000 fight-night bonuses for their performances at Wednesday’s UFC Fight Night 45 event.

Cerrone and Martins earned “Performance of the Night” bonuses, and Lineker and Ozkilic picked up “Fight of the Night” awards.

UFC President Dana White announced the winners following UFC Fight Night 45, which took place at Revel Casino Hotel in Atlantic City. The bulk of the card aired on FOX Sports 1 following a single prelim on UFC Fight Pass.

Cerrone (24-6 MMA, 11-3 UFC) floored fellow lightweight contender Jim Miller (24-5 MMA, 13-4 UFC) in the night’s headliner and earned a second-round knockout via head kick.

Martins (15-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) earned his bonus check by stopping the game and resilient featherweight Alex White (10-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) via third-round knockout.

Lineker (24-7 MMA, 5-2 UFC), meanwhile, earned a late-third-round TKO win over Ozkilic (9-3 MMA, 1-2 UFC) in a thrilling flyweight bout. The performance should move the fighter very close to a shot at the 125-pound bout.
