UFC Fight Night 45 Medical Suspensions: Jim Miller, Jessamyn Duke, Others Out Indefinitely


Jim Miller UFC 155Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone blasted Jim Miller at UFC Fight Night 45 on Wednesday night, knocking him out with a perfectly executed head kick. The kick not only secured the victory for Cerrone, it also put Miller on the medical suspension list.

With eight knockout finishes on the 11-bout fight card, Miller wasn’t alone on the list.

The New Jersey Athletic Control Board on Tuesday released the UFC Fight Night 45 medical suspensions to MMAWeekly.com.

UFC Fight Night 45: Cerrone vs. Miller took place on Wednesday, July 16, at the Revel Resorts in Atlantic City, N.J.

UFC Fight Night 45 Medical Suspensions

Jim Miller was suspended for 30 days with no contact for a knockout loss. He was also suspended indefinitely pending the outcome of an x-ray of his right forearm, as well as an abdominal ultrasound.

Evan Dunham was suspended for 30 days with no contact for a TKO loss.

Joe Proctor was suspended for 30 days with no contact for left temporal hematoma healing.

Justin Salas was suspended for 30 days with no contact for TKO loss and for facial laceration healing.

Alptekin Ozkilic was suspended for 30 days with no contact for TKO loss. He was also suspended indefinitely pending the results of a CT head scan.

Alex White was suspended for 45 days for right eye laceration healing, as well as 30 days with no contact for a knockout loss. He was also suspended indefinitely pending the results of a CT head scan and neurological examination.

Jessamyn Duke was suspended for 30 days with no contact for a TKO loss. She was also suspended indefinitely pending x-rays and orthopedic clearance of her left hand.

Hugo Viana was suspended for 30 days with no contact for a TKO loss.

Tina Lahdemaki was suspended for 60 days with no contact for recovery. She was also suspended indefinitely pending opthalmological clearance of her right eye.
