UFC Fight Night 34 drug testing results announced

hyun-gyu-lim-tarec-saffiedine-ufc-fight-night-34All 20 fighters who competed at UFC Fight Night 34 underwent drug testing after the event and successfully passed their tests.

MMAjunkie today confirmed the results with UFC representatives. Additionally, UFC reps said there were no therapeutic-use exemptions for testosterone or any other substance issued for the event.

UFC Fight Night 34 took place Jan. 4 at Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre. The entire card, including Tarec Saffiedine’s hard-fought unanimous-decision win over Hyun Gyu Lim, was the first to stream live on UFC Fight Pass.

As is the case with many international UFC events, Singapore has no athletic commission in place to oversee MMA contests. In those cases, the UFC acts as a self-governing commission.

The 20 fighters all tested negative for steroids/performance-enhancing drugs, as well as drugs of abuse such as cocaine and marijuana.
