The card, which is the latest installment of the UFC military-themed “Fight for the Troops” series, takes place at Fort Campbell in Kentucky. The bulk of the card airs on FOX Sports 1 following prelims on MMAjunkie.com.

DEREK BRUNSON (11-2 MMA, 2-0 UFC) VS. BRIAN HOUSTON (4-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC)

Round 1 – Brunson connects early with a head kick and immediarwely chases Houston to the mat. He;s for his back and is looking for a rear-naked choke. Houston fights it off initially, but after Brunson secures his hooks, a tap-out follows. The crowd of soldiers is going wild.

SETH BACZYNSKI (19-10 MMA, 5-3 UFC) VS. NEIL MAGNY (8-3 MMA, 1-2 UFC)

Round 1 – The fighters trade low kicks and whiff on some kicks ot the body. Baczynski gets the clinch and forces the action to the fencing. Baczynski works some knees, but Magny reverses. They remain tight, and the pace stalls. Baczynski reverses, and the ref calls for a restart. Baczynski lands a nice overhand right and then a kick to the ribs. Another fight just misses. Magny clinches and puts Baczynski against the cage to slow the attack. They again fight for position against the cage and trade short knees. Magny gets through a nice one. Baczynski works the body with punches as they remain tight. The ref calls for another restart. Baczynski shoots and then slams Magny to the mat, which the crowd loves. Baczynski looks for elbows as Magny tries to tie him up. The ref wants action. Baczynski stands up and looks to drop a bomb, but Magny easily avoids it. Baczynski moves to mount, though, as Magny rolls to his side and eats some elbows. With the takedown and ground and pound, Baczynski gets it, 10-9.

Round 2 – Baczynski unloads some early strikes before they again clinch against the cage. Magny with some short punches and knees. The continue fighting for position from the clinch, but the ref resets them. Magny lands a nice low kicks as Baczynski swings. Baczynski then picks him up, but Magny avoids the slam. They clinch again. Not much is landing during the tied-up fighting, and the ref calls for action and finally restarts them. Magny whiffs on a shot, and Baczynski tries for a takedown. Magny fights it off, and they return to the clinch. Magny gets through a knee, and they separate. Baczynski whiffs on a head shot, and a timeout is called due to Magny’s loose tape glove. Back underway, Baczynski catches a kick and puts Magny on his back. Baczynski postures up, but Magny defends well. Baczynski moves to side control, but he runs out of time. It’s a very close round with little guy having a clear edge. MMAjunkie.com scores it 10-10.

Round 3 – The fighters trade punches before clinching Baczynski looks for a takedown, but Magny again muscles his way out of it. They jockey for position against the cage, and the action stalls. They separate, and Baczynski shoots again. Magny initially defends against it, but Baczynski wraps the hips. Magny again positions himself out of a takedown and presses Baczynski against the cage. Baczynski gets the takedown and works from full guard. Magny ties him up, and when Baczynski postures up, he just doesn’t have a clear opening for a shot. Magny works his way back to his feet, and Baczynski presses him against the cage. Magny gets a nifty trip takedown and unloads some punches to his kneeling opponent. Baczynski is back up, but Magny slams him again and unloads punches as he returns to his feet. Baczynski shoots and looks for the takedown, but Magny defends well. Magny clips Baczynski in the final 10 seconds, but it’s hard to tell if it was a slip. Magny storms back to win the round, 10-9, and MMAjunkie.com has it 29-29 for the like-kissing-your-sister draw.

YVES EDWARDS (42-21-1 MMA, 10-9 UFC) VS. YANCY MEDEIROS (10-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC)

Round 1 – The fighter trade some early kicks, and Edwards clearly looks like he wants to end this early. The fighters trade some punches, and Edwards is still mean-mugging. Edwards easily blocks kicks before scoring with lunging punches. Medeiros gets through a few of his own. The again trade straight punches and then return to a punch-for-a-kick exchange. Edwards gets through a knee and immediately follows with punchess. Medeiros now the aggressor, but Edwards fires back. However, Medeiros slips through a sneak left uppercut, and Edwards staggers to the mat. Medeiros follows with a few quick punches, and the ref jumps in to halt it.

CHRIS CAMOZZI (19-7 MMA, 6-4 UFC) VS. LORENZ LARKIN (14-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC)

Round 1 – The fighters trade some jabs and low kicks. Camozzi lands a nice low kick and then another on the inside thigh. Larkin returns in kind. Larkin whiffs on a near-spinning variety but then drops Camozzi with a straight right and opts to let him stand. Camozzi looks fresh, and we’re back in the center trading kicks. They trade low kicks, and Camozzi eats a body kick before snapping off a solid kick to the leg. Camozzi gets through a nice combination, but Larkin answers with a solid right. Both fighters are looking for the home-run shot after setting it up with low kicks. Camozzi throws a combo and follows with a high kick, and Larkin then does the same. Larkin wraps the hips, takes the back and delivers knees as Camozzi tries to circle out of it. They reset in the center. Larkin slips on a high kick but is quickly back up. He then snaps off a loud kick to the ribs as Camozzi circles away. Not much action late in the round. It’s close, but MMAjunkie.com scores it 10-9, Larkin.

Round 2 -The fighters tease low kicks early and paw their jabs. Camozzi looks for an elbow as Larkin moves in, but he easily snuffs it out. Camozzi outstreches an arm, and Larkin punches it away twice. Larkin lands a clean right that gets the crowd’s attention. Camozzi rushes forward with a flurry, but little lands. Camozzi lands a low kick but eats a punch to the belly. Larkin lands a nice straight, and Camozzi is starting to bleed from the mouth. Camozzi checks a head kick and then lands a nice leaping left. Larkin swings wildly and misses, and Camozzi clinches and puts him against the cage. They fight for position against the cage. Camozzi lands a knee, but Larkin delivers two stiff standing elbows. Larkin gets through a right and then retreats as Camozzi closes out the round as the aggressor. MMAjunkie.com scores it 10-9 for Larkin.

Round 3 – Larkin tries a variety of kicks to minimal success. He slips, but Camozzi can’t capitalize. Larkin then swings wildly at the hard-to-hit Camozzi. Camozzi works low kicks, and Larkin eats them. Camozzi tries a leaping knee that’s checked. Larkin lands a clean straight right. They trade short punches, reset, and largely whiff on the following shots. Camozzi ducks under some punches and gets a clinch, but Larkin presses him against the cage and lands stiff and powerful right elbow to an already-bloody face. Camozzi reverses, but Larkin overpowers him to land a knee before being pressed back into the cage. The pace slows against the cage, but the crowd tries to cheer them onto action as Larkin calls for it. They trade elbows and punches from the clinch to a standing ovation. Camozzi hung tough, but it’s 10-9 for Larkin and 30-27 overall.

AMANDA NUNES (9-3 MMA, 2-0 UFC) VS. GERMAINE DE RANDAMIE (4-3 MMA, 1-1 UFC)

Round 1 – A “kick her face!” scream gets us started. Both fighters bounce and looking for an opening. Little action early. de Randamie throws a kic, but Nunes catches it and puts her against the cage. She looks for the takedown, but de Randamie defends. They continue in the clinch, and Nunes continues working for a takedown that finally comes. Nunes looks to drop into mount, but she struggles to flatten out de Randamie. She finally gets it, and de Randamie pulls her close. Nunes finally gets some separation and delivers punches from the top. Elbows follow, and de Randamie eats most of them. More elbows follow, but de Randamie is checking them now. Punches get through the defenses, and elbows follow. de Randamie looks hapless on her back. The ref has seen enough and calls it.

DENNIS BERMUDEZ (12-3 MMA, 5-1 UFC) VS. STEVEN SILER (23-11 MMA, 5-2 UFC)

Round 1 – Bermudez works the jab early. He then ducks under a hook, wraps the hops and slams Siler to the mat. Bermudez works from half guard against the cage, but Siler pulls him into full guard before getting to his knees. He’s up, and Bermudez clinches and puts him against the cage. Siler takes a knee to the junk, and a timeout is called. The troops let out a collective sigh during the replay. After a short break, we’re back at it. Bermudez moves in with punches, but Siler advoids it. Bermudez goes low with a kick and looks for a takedown, but Silver slaps on a guillotine on the way down. They battle for position, and Bermudez gets to the top. Silver, though, works for a triangle choke, but Bermudez lifts him and channels his inner Scott Voss and slams his way out of it. He’s back in top in full guard, rains down a punch and then slams Siler back to the mat when gets up. Siler reserves the position, but Bermudez takes it back while working a guillotine. He continues working for it but doesn’t have the angle. He tries again from the top, but Siler pops free and takes top position. They’re back on their feet, and the soldiers cheer in appreciation. Bermudez shoots again and must fend off a guillotine. MMAjunkie.com scores it 10-9 for Bermudez.

Round 2 – Bermudez with a superman punch that misses, and he slips but quickly resets. They trade punches, but Bermudez pushes forward with a takedown attempt. He picks up and drops Siler, who can’t hang onto a guillotine. Bermudez is in an open guard, but Silver fights his way to his feet. He then presses Bermudez against the cage and delivers a knee to the midsection. Bermudez answers with an elbow and deposits Siler on his back. Siler pulls him into full guard, and the pace slows. Bermudez gets in a few short punches, but Siler keeps him tight. Bermudez looks t pass, but Siler is having none of it. Bermudez finally frees a leg and looks for a guillotine, but Siler’s in no danger. However, Bermudez keeps at it and tightens it up. Siler wants a standup. Bermudez looks to move to side control, but Siler successfully fights it off. Siler gets back to his feet just as the round ends. It’s another one for Bermudez, 10-9.

Round 3 – Bermudez lands a nice right, but Siler quickly recovers. Bermudez, though, shoots and gets the takedown. Siler looks for a guillotine but breaks off and gets to his feet. Siler on his heels and not ready to commit. However, he counters Bermudez with a nice quick right. Bermudez again presses the action before dipping and shooting. Siler fends it off and gets his back to the cage and then avoids a trip takedown. Bermudez still the aggressor, though nothing much is landing. Bermudez ducks under an uppercut and shoots, but Siler is ready and circles away. Bermudez shoots again and easily gets the double-leg takedown. He frees a leg, but Siler pulls it back in. Bermudez tries to posture up, but Siler pulls him close. Siler gets to his feet, fights of a guillotine, and finally breaks his head free. They trade leather in the final 20 seconds, but nothing major lands. MMAjunkie.com has it 10-9 for Bermudez, who wins it 30-27.

FRANCISCO RIVERA (10-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC) VS. GEORGE ROOP (14-10-1 MMA, 4-6 UFC)

Round 1 – Roop goes with a body kick that hits his shorter opponent’s head. Rivera pops a shot and presses Roop against the cage while delivering some knees. Roops tries to answer, but Rivera is ready, Roop gets some distance and moves in but eats some shots. However, he gets the takdown passes to side control with little room to work against the cage. Rivera tries to get up, but Roops remains heavy on top. Roop delivers some punches to a sitting Rivera and looks to pull him away from the cage. Rivera, though, keeps his back against the cage. Rivera scrambles and gets to his feet, but Roop stays on him tightly and presses him against the fence. The ref calls for a restart. Roop shoots but eats a right, delivers a knee, and then eats another right. A “Roop, there it is!” cheer can be heard from an immediately embarrassed soldier. Rivera lands a short uppercut, resets, and fights off Roop’s clinch attempt. Roop grazes him with a head kick and then fails on a takedown before the round ends. It’s close, but MMAjunkie.com scores it 10-9 for Rivera.

Round 2 – The fighters look for high kicks early and swing wildly with little landing. The overhand punches are telegraphed. River gets through a nice two-punch combo and smiles as Roop shakes it off. Roop lands a kick to the ol’ beanbag, and a timeout is called. On the restart, Rivers lands a couple overhand rights, stuffs a takedown and unloads more punches. Roop is in trouble against the cage and eats more shots. He tries to run away, but Rivera swarms. Roop stays alive, gets to his feet, but is demolished with another swarm of punches for a quick and violent beating.

Round 1 – Krause works some low kicks as Green looks to counter. They trade low kicks, and Krause takes a shot to the baby-maker. After a brief timeout, Krause immediately lands a low kick. Green stalks but eats a body kick after a brief tie-up. Krause works jabs, catches a kick and pushes Green away. Green lands a low, and Krause answers with a knee. Krause wings some power punches that miss, and Green gives him a “Whaddup?” before returning fire. Green standing flatfooted and daring him to swing. Krause with a nice low kick before eating a left. Krause ducks into an uppercut but seems unaffected. Green with a nice body punch and follows with a kick to the same rack of ribs. Krause get punted in the family jewels, and we have another timeout. A touch of gloves gets the action started again. Green unloads another kick to the ding-a-ling, and Krause crashes to the mat. The ref says it was legal, and there’s a lot of confusion. Krause is upset. Looks like this one is over with Green getting the KO. “Let them fight!” rings out from the crowd. Yup, that’s it. Green via TKO.

MICHAEL CHIESA (9-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) VS. COLTON SMITH (3-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC)

Round 1 – Chiesa paws the jab as Smith circles. Both test their range with low kicks. Smith goes low with a kick and then high, and both land. Cheisa lands a nice left and clinches, but Smith wraps his hips and works for a takedown before slamming him to the mat. The crowd approves. Chiesa hops into mount, takes Smith’s back when he rolls, and immediately works for the rear-naked choke. Smith fights it off, but Chiesa has the bodylock. Smith tries to control the hands and rolls, but Chiesa remains tight on his back, Smith finally sweeps and then takes Chiesa’s back as he stands. Smith climbs atop him but slides off, and Chiesa is slammed again. Smith delivers punches to his kneeling opponent and locks on a rear-naked choke as he stands. Chiesa tries to fight it off, but it looks deep. Chiesa won’t let him under his chin, though, and dives forward to spike Smith. He maintains back mount, but Chisa is slowly sliding out. Smith goes to a seated position and keeps Chiesa in front of him, but Chiesa escapes ot his feet, and they reset. It’s an action-packed first round, but Smith gets the narrow edge for riding time, 10-9.

Round 2 – They clinch to start the second round, and Smith forces it to the fencing. Smith works knees before fighting off a trip takedown. Chiesa with a nice straight left that forces Smith to immediately close the distance. Chiesa dumps Smith with a brilliant throw, gets back mount, and locks in a deep rear-naked choke. There’s no escaping this win, and Smith taps. Chiesa wins in hostile territory.

RUSTAM KHABILOV (17-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) VS. JORGE MASVIDAL (25-8 MMA, 2-1 UFC)

Round 1 – Khabilov with a nice straight right to open this highly anticipated bout. The fighters remain patient, and Khabilov whiffs on a right. Khabilov charges forward with a flurry, but Masvidal snuffs it out. Little action early. Khabilov with a short right, but Masvidal avoids follow-up shots. They trade a quick flurry and reset. Nice left jab from Masvidal. Khabilov picking away, but Masvidal is ready and deflects them. Khabilov looks for a takedown, and after some effort, gets a single leg. Masvidal immediately sprawls and is back up. Masvidal unloads a knee to the changepurse, but the ref wants it to continue. Khabilov catches a leaping knee, and Masvidal puts a hand on the mat to avoid a knee. He then drops to a knee before hopping back up. Masvidal catches a straight kick but can’t do anything with it. Khabilov catches a leaping knee and has the same problem. Masvidal goes low with a kick, and they close out the round in the clinch. It’s close, but MMAjunkie.com goes 10-9 for Khabilov.

Round 2 – Masvidal checks an overhand right. Khabilov continues swinging but missing. However, he gets through a right to the body. Khabilov then checks a high kick. Masvidal lands a low kick and stares down his opponent. Khabilov again throws powerful rights, but Masvidal is ready. Masvidal goes low with a kick again, and he’s quick to block the counter. Khabilov clinches, but they quickly reset. Lots of circling and blocking. Khabilov sneaks through a right, but after a clinch, Masvidal puts him against the cage. The crowd cheers Khabilov’s blocked punch, and Masvidal glares at them to assure them it didn’t land. Masvidal gets the takedown, but Khabilov is quickly back up. Masvidal stays tight but Khabilov shoots and gets his own takedown. Masvidal, though, is quickly back up and fighting off a return trip. Khabilov again gets the fight to the mat, but Masvidal doesn’t let him do anything with the position and gets back to his feet. It’s another close one, but MMAjunkie.com scores it 10-9 for Masvidal.

Round 3 – A “hip, hip, Jorge!” chant gets us started. (It’s the thought that counts.) Khabilov circles on the outside, and Masvidal patiently stalks. Khabilov unloads a crisp head kick, and Masvidal is down. He quickly recovers and ties up a leg, but Khabilov works his way to his back and looks for the choke. Masvidal spins free and to his feet. They tangle and fight for position on the mat, and once up, Khabilov takes his back and looks for the choke. He doesn’t have his hooks and moves to side control, but Masvidal quickly backs out. Khabilov throwing tired punches, but he’s landing a few. He shoots again, but Masvidal sprawls and fends it off. Masvidal now shoots and gets a single leg, but he can’t finish it. Khabilov delivers knees while they’re clinched and then a few elbows. Masvidal tries a spinning back kick, but he’s wrestled to the mat, where Khabilov looks to take his back. Masvidal smoothly rolls out of it, and Khabilov swarms again. Masvidal escapes, and we’re upright again. They clinch against the cage as time winds down. Masvidal looks for a takedown, but Khabilov collapses on top of him. Khabilov takes the final round, 10-9, for a 29-28 win on the MMAjunkie.com scorecard.

RONNY MARKES (142 MMA, 3-1 UFC) VS. YOEL ROMERO (6-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC)

Round 1 – Markes lands a flush inside leg kick to get us started. They tease low kicks while each looks to counter. Romero fakes a takedown, and Markes then catches a kick and dumps him. He’s quickly back up, though. Romero gets through a nice left that briefly staggers his opponent. They’re back in the center, and Romero slips on a kick and hops back up and jumps out of the way of Markes’ charge. Markes looks for a leg, eats an elbow, but gets the fight to the mat. He moves to half guard, but Romero ties him up from the bottom. Romero escapes to his feet, and we start again. Romero stalks and then goes low with a kick to set up a straight left to the kisser. He then checks a body kick. Romero looks  to shoot, but Markes fends it off before eating a few punches from close range. MMAjunkie.com scores a close one 10-9 for Romero.

Round 2 – Romero with a body kick, and he follows with some short elbows. A straight left lands for him. Markes lunges with a right and briefly staggers to the mat before resetting. Romero seems to have figured out Markes’ timing and is now moving into range consistently. He essentially muscles Markes to the mat, stands over, and looks for a punch. He opts instead to let Markes stand. Romero with a nice left, and Markes answers with a right. Romero knocks hin off balance with a stiff left and then snuffs out a takedown attempt. Romero drops Markes with a body kick, though it may have been more of a slip. Still, it landed flush. Romero stands over him, avoids upkicks and allows Markes back up. Romero with a straight kick to the shin, and he then avoids a body kick. Markes trying a lunging knee and high kick, but Romero is ready for them. Markes getting a little wide, and Romero picks at him with counter-punches. Markes get through a shot, but the round is Romero’s, 10-9.

Round 3 – The final frame is underway. Markes shoots, but Romero shrugs it off. They trade punches, but Markes complains of an eye-poke, and we have a timeout.  Romero starting to open up, and he’s got Markes on wobbly legs. The Brazilian tries to shake it off and throws kicks, but Romero patiently awaits an opening. Romero works the body and then drops Markes with a crushing left hand. Down goes Markes, and the ref halts this one.

LIZ CARMOUCHE (9-4 MMA, 1-2 UFC) VS. ALEXIS DAVIS (15-5 MMA, 2-0 UFC)

Round 1 – And we’re underway. Both fighters test their range and trade some kicks. Davis catches one, but Carmouche gets it back. The fighters both wing power shots that just miss. They reset, and Carmouche snaps off a low kick. Carmouche lands a groin shot up the middle that draws a chuckle from both. Davis stalks and uses low kicks to try to set up punches, but Carmouche is evasive. Davis continues to target the legs, and Carmouche continues to circle. Davis backs her up against the cage and lands a few clean shots, but Carmouche again circles away and counters a low kick with a straight punch. The same sequence plays out. Not a ton of action, and it’s close, but MMAjunkie.com gives it to Davis, 10-9, based largely on the aggression.

Round 2 – Davis again works the low kicks and stalks after Carmouche, who now appears determined to stay off the cage. Carmouche goes low with a kick, but Davis again chases. They trade low kicks, and Carmouche gets through a punch. Davis lands low again and delivers a quick combo, but Carmouche catches her in the centert of the cage. Davis again stalking, backing her up and landing punches. Carmouche clinches and then backs off to reset. Davis with more low kicks that are followed by punches. Davis badly bleeding from near the left eye now. Carmouche circles the outside and they trade in the center. Davis continues stalking. Carmouche looks for openings, but Davis is landing more often. Davis gets through a nice combo that sends Carmouche stumbling. The blood is flowing, but she can still see well. She bumps Carmouche and takes side control with a minute to go. Carmouche puts a knee up to fend off the mount, but Davis delivers short and effective elbows. Davis works knees to the body and then punches before Carmouche sweeps as the round ends. It’s another one for Davis, 10-9.

Round 3 – The fighters clinch up early, and Davis works knees to the legs while they’re against the cage. Carmouche has no room to work, and Davis continues working knees. Carmouche circles off while still in the clinch and presses Davis into the cage. Davis, though, reverses, and the position battle continues. Davis gets underhooks and looks for the takedown. The ref calls for a restart. Davis lands a nice low kick, but Carmouche fires back with a punch. Carmouche looks light on her feet and starts swing with the home-run shots. Davis closes the distance, they clinch, and eventually break off. Davis stalks again, and they trade some sloppy flurries. Davis, though, keeps her flatfooted with the low kicks, which are clearly hindering Carmouche’s efforts. Carmouche looks for the counter, but even with an eye covered in blood, Davis sees the openings for kicks and quick combos. It’s another round for Davis, who takes it 10-9 in the frame and 30-27 overall.

Round 1 – The fighters trade early kicks, and Natal gets a right hook through. “Ranger up!” chants rain down. The fighters circle, and Natal lands a low kick. Kennedy goes high but misses. Natal stalsks and lands a stiff punch that bounces Kennedy off the cage. He resets, and but he eats another right. Kennedy looks unfazed, though.Natal shoots, but Kennedy hits the mat and is quickly back up. Natal kicks Kennedy’s leg out from under him, but he pops back up. Both now searching for low kicks. Kennedy lands a stiff body kick to the ribs that draws oohs. Kennedy moves forward, but Natal circles and avoids danger. Natal now the aggressor. A spinning back fist misses for Natal, Kennedy drops Natal with a big left, and this thing is over in a split second. The airfield explodes with applause.
