UFC Fight Night 101 weigh-in photos and video highlights: No drama Down Under

MELBOURNE, Australia – The 24 fighters on Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 101 event took to the scales to make things official.

The festivities took place at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The same venue hosts Saturday’s event, which airs on FS1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass.

Unlike most recent events, there were no early weigh-ins for UFC Fight Night 101. With the fighters going through the classic process of making weight for the ceremonial weigh-in event, things remained drama free.

Only Yao Zhikui missed weight, but lost the pound necessary to make the official flyweight limit within the time allowed.

Headliners Derek Brunson (16-3 MMA, 7-1 UFC) and Robert Whittaker (16-4 MMA, 7-2 UFC) made weight, with Brunson checking in at 186 pounds to Whittaker’s 185.
