Kelvin Gastelum has been a controversial fighter the past month or so. But there was nothing controversial about his Saturday performance.
Gastelum (13-2 MMA, 8-2 UFC) picked apart Tim Kennedy (18-6 MMA, 3-2 UFC) for a third-round TKO on Saturday at UFC 206. Gastelum was fighting at middleweight after another failed welterweight cut at UFC 205 the month prior. And after beating Kennedy, he said he wanted to go back to welterweight – again.
UFC 206 took place Saturday at Air Canada Centre in Toronto. The main card aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.
