UFC 204: Gegard Mousasi vs. Vitor Belfort video highlights

It was once unfathomable that Vitor Belfort would be the less aggressive fighter in the octagon, but that’s exactly what happened when he faced off with Gegard Mousasi.

The middleweight bout was the co-main event of today’s UFC 204 event at Manchester Arena in Manchester, England. It aired pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.

Mousasi (40-6-2 MMA, 7-3 UFC) came out of the gate aggressive, throwing shots at Belfort (25-13 MMA, 14-9 UFC) from all angles. Belfort occasionally was able to return fire, countering the kicks of Mousasi with blistering punch combinations.

In Round 2, Mousasi rocked Belfort with a head kick and followed up with punches to bring the fight to a close at the 2:43 mark of Round 2.
