NANDOR GUELMINO (11-5-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) VS. DANIEL OMIELANCZUK (16-3-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC)

Round 1 – Guelmino with a few early kicks to the body, but Omielanczuk stands and answers with high strikes, as well. Both fighters kicking to open. Shots traded to the thigh. Omielanczuk lands a left to the head and another to the body. Omielanczuk stalking, and he digs again to the body. Into the clinch. Omielanczuk has been the aggressor to open. He’s pushing in, but Miragliotta breaks them apart. Omielanczuk moves inside again on the restart. Guelmino defends against the fence. They jockey for position, but Miragliotta calls for another restart. Omielanczuk walks into a stiff jab. Guelmino coming alive with one minute left. Guelmino scores with a short right. Omielanczuk with a takedown, but Guelmino pops right back to his feet. Round ends with Guelmino tripping down, and MMAjunkie.com leans slightly toward Omielanczuk, 10-9.

Round 2 – Kicks again from both to start. Omielanczuk lands up top with three punches that stun Guelmino. Omielanczuk sees it and pushes forward. He brings Guelmino to his knees. He tries to wrap the neck, but Guelmino pushes him away. Omielanczuk adjusts and pushes back, driving Guelmino to the canvas. Guelmino sweeps to the top as Omielanczuk tries to secure a kimura. Guelmino nearly moves to the back on the ensuing scramble. Omielanczuk turns, and Guelmino does secure the back. Omielanczuk turns again, but Guelmino is on top. Two minutes remain. Omielanczuk nearly escapes by kicking Guelmino away. He can’t, turning instead for a leg, but Guelmino pushes him back to the floor. Short elbow from Guelmino. He’s not scoring with heavy shots, but he’s spending a lot of time on top. Omielanczuk tries to score with a keylock from the bottom, but he can’t torque the hold. Round ends, and MMAjunkie.com gives it to Guelmino, 10-9.

Round 3 – Touch of gloves to start. Kicks again from both men. Both look exhausted. Guelmino slips on an Omielanczuk kick, but he stays upright. Omielanczuk scores with a high kick. Tired punches move the fighters into the clinch, and Miragliotta breaks them apart fairly quickly. Guelmino kicks the body. Both fighters tired. Omielanczuk lands with two punches as he moves forward. Back into the clinch. Guelmino looking for an outside trip but can’t push it through. Miragliotta calls for action before breaking them again. Omielanczuk walking forward, and he loses his mouthpiece on a kick to the body. Brief stop, and Omielanczuk lands a stiff left on the restart. Another follows, and Guelmino crashes to the floor. He’s out. Fight over.

ALEX CACERES (9-5 MMA, 4-3 UFC) VS. ROLAND DELORME (9-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC)

Round 1 – Quick start from both, and Caceres hits a spinning backfist. Delorme looking to move the fight to the floor, but Caceres pushes him away with ease. Caceres looks confident early, light on his feet and winging punches. Delorme leaps forward with a left hook that sends Caceres to the floor. Delorme on top, but Caceres uses the cage to walk all the way over and reverse the position. Excellent move, but Delorme rolls it again and moves to his opponent’s back. Caceres defends well, but Delorme sets up in mount. Caceres turns yet again. He’s defending well, but he’s not clear of danger. Delorme still working for the choke. Caceres turns in and uses the cage to create space. Delorme adjusts again and is all over the back. Caceres refusing to give up the neck. Delorme moves to a side choke instead, but Caceres defends there, too. Caceres gets to his feet and somehow reverses the position before backing away. Round ends there, and MMAjunkie.com gives it to Delorme, 10-9.

Round 2 – Delorme wings a few punches to open, but Caceres again moving well in evasion. Caceres very loose, but Delorme is avoiding any big shots. Delorme leaping forward with his strikes, but Caceres is finding a range. Clinch, and Delorme gets off-balance and falls back. Caceres moves to the floor and gets to the back, but Delorme stands, and they separate. Caceres landing a jab and a few front kicks to the body. Scramble to the floor, and both fighters look to wind up on top. Instead, they work back to the feet. Delorme rushes forward but can’t get the takedown. Caceres pops a few left straights on the feet. Jab scores, and Delorme’s nose is busted up. Delorme is slowing. One minute left. Delorme does leap forward with a right that scores and looks to get inside on a takedown. Caceres defends it well and peppers him on the outside as he pulls away. Caceres kicks the leg, and the round ends. MMAjunkie.com sees it for Caceres, 10-9.

Round 3 – Delorme looks a little refreshed to open, and he chases with punches. Caceres moving well and looks the quicker fighter. Delorme walks forward. They move into the clinch, and Caceres circles off and takes the outside. He slides around to the back but has to let go as Delorme turns back inside. Caceres pops a quick jab. He kicks the legs. Caceres goes to the body and then the head. Delorme trying to get inside but can’t catch him. Delorme catches a kick but can’t capitalize. He drives in again for a second effort, but Caceres pushes him aside and takes the back. Delorme crawls to his feet, and Caceres backs away. They reset with 90 seconds left, and Caceres is simply too quick for Delorme. He avoids well and counters, racking up points. Spinning kick to the body scores. Caceres slips on a switch kick and falls to his back. Less than a minute for Delorme to capitalize. Caceres looks for a triangle choke. Round ends, and MMAjunkie.com gives the final round to Caceres, 10-9, awarding him the fight 29-28.

Round 1 – Southpaw Ronson working a quick jab. He counters over the top of a Prazeres kick to the body. Prazeres gets inside on the body and tries to drag the fight down. Ronson hits a knee but pops back up. Prazeres stays tied to the body and just muscles Ronson to the floor. Prazeres in side control. He tries to step over to the back, but Ronson crawls up. Prazeres dumps him again with a nice slam to the canvas. Prazeres scoots around to the back. Ronson trying to work to his feet. Prazeres attacks the neck but gets more of a crank than a choke. He lets go, but he’s tight on the back. Prazeres goes again for the choke but can’t get it. He tries to move over to mount, but Ronson prevents the pass. Prazeres relentless with the attempts, but Ronson survives. Still, MMAjunkie.com gives the first to Prazeres, 10-9.

Round 2 – Ronson with an early front kick. Prazeres slips under a punch and takes Ronson quickly to the canvas and again to the back. Ronson scrambles up, but Prazeres drives in for another takedown. Ronson gets his back to the fence and complains to Lavigne that nothing is happening. Prazeres punches him a few times in the face and then stands to get into a front control position. Prazeres threatening a guillotine, but Ronson pulls up and walks away. Ronson tries to get busy on the feet, but Prazeres just pushes in again and drives the action to the floor. Prazeres just outmuscling his opponent right now. Ronson gets to his feet, but he’s got no space at all to work. He finally pulls away with a little more than a minute remaining. High kick lands for Ronson. Kick to the body scores. Two punches score, and he defends a takedown. He pushes a second one aside. Ronson showing signs of life, but time winding down here. Round ends, and MMAjunkie.com gives it to Prazeres, 10-9.

Round 3 – Ronson looks lively to start, and he scores with a push kick to the body. A side kick comes in, as well. Ronson scores with a nice lead uppercut. Prazeres tries to shake it out, but he’s slowing a touch. Kick to the legs for Ronson. Left to the body. High kick blocked, but he’s turning up the pressure. Prazeres shoots in but is stuffed. He does score with a right hand. He catches a kick and counters with a left. Ronson overcommits with an uppercut, and Prazeres slips under it, but he can’t get the takedown. Ronson pulls away, and Prazeres stays on his back. Ronson kicks the legs a bit before finally backing away. Quick punches from both on the restart. Ronson getting the better of it, but he’s not landing flush. One minute left, and Prazeres finally gets underneath and in on a takedown. He’ll be happy to stay here. Ronson turns to his knees and crawls to his feet. He uses the cage to turn in and scores with a powerful slam, rifling punches at the bell. Unfortunately, it’s too little, too late, and MMAjunkie.com gives him the final round, 10-9, but awards Prazeres the fight 29-28.

Round 1 – Quick strikes from both men. Forte ends up in the center and scores with a few quick punches to open. Spinning kick to the body by Makdessi. He catches a kick but can’t counter before they reset. Makdessi slips a straight and scores with a counter right behind the ear. Forte is stunned. He falls to the floor, and Makdessi follows with a barrage of punches. Anderson gives Forte time to recover, but it’s not going to happen. Fight over.

Round 1 – Gagnon with an early low kick. Crowd shouting “Canada” in support. Kimura overcommits on a straight, and Gagnon gets inside but can’t take him down. Kimura slips away. Low kicks from Kimura, but Gagnon counters over the top. Gagnon very sharp early. Kimura kicks the legs twice and then the body. Gagnon slows just a bit from the solid blow, but he quickly returns with a sharp flurry. Kimura’s nose bleeding from the early work. Gagnon kicks the leg and body. Kimura scores again to the body and rushes forward when it looks like Gagnon is hurt. Gagnon recovers and scores a takedown. Kimura turns to attack the leg, but Gagnon pulls it free and punches from the top. Kimura scrambles up to the feet. He digs the body. Gagnon very sharp. Two punches for Gagnon. Kimura looks for a takedown but falls unto an arm-in guillotine choke. Gagnon rolls over to the top, and Kimura goes to sleep. Incredible performance from Gagnon.

Clements moving in and out of range, kicking the leg. Thompson misses a kick, and Clements shocks him with a slick low sweep. Thompson off-balance, but recovers against the cage. Thompson looks for a takedown and nearly ducks into a knee. Clements goes to the floor but stands back up, and Thompson pulls away. Clements misses a straight and eats a counter right. Halfway mark. Thompson settles in a bit and lands with more orthodox strikes. Into the clinch, and just as they break, Clements nearly hits McCarthy by accident. On the restart, Clements slips on a kick. Thompson pushes to the floor, but Clements scrambles up. Solid work from Clements early. Thompson switching stances, and he kicks the leg. Thompson rushes in with a strong jab and a takedown. Clements scrambles and scores with a rolling strike from the bottom. Round ends, and MMAjunkie.com sees it for Clements, 10-9.

Round 2 – Thompson with a heel kick to the body then to the head. He’s moving well to start, and he leaps in with crafty punches that drop Clements. Thompson follows to the floor, but Clements quickly recovers. Thompson scrambles away, and Clements follows to the feet. Thompson moving again, and a straight right blasts Clements. He staggers, and Thompson measures him for another blow. A glancing right is followed by a straight left. It puts Clements on the floor, and McCarty steps in.

Reis the aggressor to open, but Menjivar very comfortable in his counters. Menjivar kicks the legs. Reis looking to attack, but he’s struggling to find his range. Menjivar moves inside and eats a few uppercuts before they break away. Reis holds the center of the cage, but he’s still searching. Menjivar kicks the body again. Reis thumps the leg. Menjivar kicks again. Strong weapon to start. He avoids a Reis rush. Menjivar kicks the body again. Reis absolutely struggling to get inside. He finally pushes in and scores a takedown. Menjivar ties up well underneath, and the round ends. MMAjunkie.com gives it to Menjivar, 10-9.

Round 2 – Reis winging power shots to open, but he’s still short on the range. Menjivar scores with a big right hand, but Reis just stands there. Reis drives in on a takedown and gets it, pulling his head free from the choke attempt. He stands and tries to pass, but Menjivar scrambles up to his feet. Trading in the pocket before Reis slips under and scores with another takedown. Menjivar takes full guard underneath. Reis looks to posture, but Menjivar doing a good job underneath in defense. Reis pushes up and does work in a few punches. Crowd wants more action, but it’s Menjivar keeping things tight. He opens up and turns for a leg. Doesn’t get it, but it creates a scramble back to the feet. Round ends there, and MMAjunkie.com gives the round to Reis, 10-9.

Round 3 – Menjivar takes the center. He scores with an early low kick. Reis looking to strike. He’s short on a few early punches. Reis pushes in for a takedown, but Menjivar defends against the cage. Both mixing it up well to start, but neither landed flush just yet. Jury switching his stances, looking for options. Ricci kicks the leg. Jury has a high kicks blocked. Ricci kicks the legs. Jury pushes in for a takedown. Ricci defends against the cage, but Jury wraps the body and elevates him before throwing him to the floor. Ricci sits up and works to his knees. Jury staying tight on the body. Ricci lands a few elbows in tight and then moves to the feet. They separate before the bell. Not a lot to score there, but MMAjunkie.com leans slightly toward Jury, 10-9.

Round 2 – Trading again to open. Ricci looks a little more busy to start. He misses an elbow and eats a counter punch. Ricci is chasing, and he pins Jury agains the cage but can’t capitalize. Both fighters coming up short. Ricci lands a good left hand. Just feels like a sparring session right now as both are struggling to land with authority. Ricci does kick the body. Crowd getting restless. Jury with a nice left hand. Jury misses on a takedown. He kicks the body as they restart. Jury drops again for a leg but misses. Missing spinning backfist from Jury. Final minute. Ricci misses on a few wild strikes. Jury drives in again for a takedown. Ricci defends against the fence. Nothing there. Round ends on the feet, and crowd doesn’t like it. Round 3 – Jury in for the takedown much earlier in this round, and he gets it. Ricci immediately scoots to the cage. Jury again stays tight to the body and holds his opponent down. Ricci get up to a knee. Ricci gets to his feet, but Jury brings him back down to the floor. Ricci tries to roll and reverse the position. He can’t quite get it done, and Jury switches out. Ricci turns to his knees. Crowd is absolutely hating the fight. Jury keeping control of the action on the floor. It’s not exciting, but it’s certainly winning him the fight. Final minute. Ricci turns in on a scramble. He can’t keep the position, and Jury turns in again. Crowd counts down the final seconds. Fight ends there, and it’s a chorus of boos. Nurmagomedov retreating and looking to counter, but Healy on the early grind. Nurmagomedov misses a right but sneaks in a left. Leg kicks traded. Nurmagomedov with a leaping knee. A second scores. They trade shots in the pocket. Wild exchanges in the center. Healy’s right cheek showing some wear. Healy kicks the leg and avoids the counter. Mouthpiece out. It’s Nurmagomedov, and we get a quick stop to reset. Nurmagomedov starting to land with more frequency. Healy still pushing forward. Leaping knee from Nurmagomedov misses but a right hand follows. Nurmagomedov with a late takedown. Healy scrambles up, but Nurmagomedov works again to his back. He lets go and fires punches to close. MMAjunkie.com gives the first to Nurmagomedov, 10-9.

Round 2 – Wild flurries again by Nurmagomedov. The odd movement is effective, but Healy there to answer. They clinch up, and Nurmagomedov slips around to the back. Healy kneeling, but he turns in well and moves to his feet. Healy continues to be the one walking forward, but he’s finding stiff opposition. Sharp left hand for Nurmagomedov, followed by a high kick as he spins around. Lead right fro Nurmagomedov. In and out, and surprisingly not wrestling. Healy catches him with a right hand. That one hurt. Healy pushes forward, but Nurmagomedov recovers quickly. He slips but recovers quickly and is on the back. He scores with punches as Healy pulls away. Healy continues to attack, and he kicks the leg. Nurmagomedov finally moves in for a takedown. He can’t get it, but he lets go, lands tow punches and tries again. Healy defends, but as they break away, Nurmagomedov slips under and drives his opponent to the floor. He finishes there, and MMAjunkie.com gives it to Nurmagomedov, 10-9.

Round 3 – Nurmagomedov moving well to start, but he’s short on another takedown. Healy tries to pick up the pace with his striking. Nurmagomedov answers with kicks to the body. Healy pushes forward again, but Nurmagomedov drops underneath and scores the takedown. Healy with half-guard underneath. He scoots to the cage and sits up, but Nurmagomedov stays close as they rise. He elevates Healy and runs him all the way across the cage before dumping him on the floor, much to the delight of the crowd. Healy active underneath, but Nurmagomedov is just as happy to punch away from the top. Healy still tough as nails, but he’s just got no options. Nurmagomedov is in control. Healy turns to his knees, looking for something, but Nurmagomedov just puts him flat on his back. Round ends with Healy scrambling, but Nurmagomedov controls it all. Carmont grabs the legs and pulls him away. Philippou gets again to his knees. Carmont on the back, and he sneaks in a few punches. He looks for the choke, but Philippou feels it and turns in. It’s good defense, but Carmont is now in control on top. Philippou works from guard. He wants an arm, but Carmont pulls free and into side control. Philippou scrambles underneath, and he again attacks the arm, but Carmont is too much on top. Carmont misses a big right, and Philippou secures the, but he runs out of time before he can capitalize. MMAjunkie.com gives it to Carmont, 10-9.

Round 2 – Philippou will want to stay upright this round. He doesn’t. Carmont immediately slips underneath and takes the action to the floor. Carmont just dominating on top. Philippou holding tight for a standup as the crowd boos. Carmont staying busy enough for McCarthy, thought that quickly changes. Philippou looks frustrated as they’re brought to the feet. Carmont quickly back inside and brings the action again to the ground. Crowd still unhappy. Carmont stands and looks to strike but pushes back down when Philippou looks to attack a leg. Round ends there, and it’s all Carmont, 10-9 on the MMAjunkie.com card.

Mitrione kicks the leg and pulls away. Schaub misses a big overhand. He scores with a right. Mitrione looks relaxed. Schaub moves in to grab the body but pulls away and strikes. He lands a right. Schaub seems to be more about faking the takedown to strike right now. He does clinch up, but Mitrione pushes him away. Mitrione bleeding from the corner of his left eye. He kicks the leg. Schaub with a left that scores. Schaub flurries, bringing a smile from Mitrione. Schaub then ducks under and takes the fight to the floor. Schaub tries to set up a D’Arce choke from the front as Mitrione crawls up. It’s in, and Schaub torques it. Mitrione signals he’s awake, but Schaub says to check him shortly after, and he is asleep. Great finish.

Barao shoots in, but Wineland stands him up and takes him to the cage. Stalemate there, and Lavigne separates them. Wineland holds the center again. Barao just misses on a high kick. Wineland pushes him to the floor, but he pops back up. Barao kicks the leg, but Wineland answers with a bodyshot. Barao misses a spinning high kick. Wineland staying compact and attacking up the middle. Barao kicks the leg again. He lands a right hand, as well. Wineland with a sneaky Superman punch and then pushes off a takedown attempt. Barao continues to chop the leg. He lands a right hand. Champ picking things up as time winds down. Round ends, and MMAjunkie.com leans toward Wineland, 10-9.

Round 2 – Wineland again forward quickly. Barao lands a left hand. He’s starting quicker this time, but Wineland happy to do the same.
