The TV ratings numbers are in and the UFC 152 Prelims on FX on Saturday night drew an audience of 955,000 viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research.
That is the lowest number of viewers for a UFC preliminary bout broadcast on FX since the promotion’s first on the Fox-owned network, which was the UFC 142 prelims in January of this year.
Still, 955,000 viewers for the UFC 152 Prelims on FX was good enough to place FX as the seventh most watched ad-supported cable network in Saturday night’s prime time, and marked it as fifth among Adults 18-49, which is the UFC and FX’s key demographic.
UFC preliminary broadcasts on FX have fluctuated from just below 1 million viewers per episode to as high as 1.8 million – for UFC 148. The broadcasts have leveled out at an average of 1.24 million viewers per event over the course of 10 event so far this year.
