The TV ratings are in for Saturday night’s UFC 146 preliminary broadcast on FX. The event drew an average audience of 1.3 million viewers.
The four-fight broadcast was topped off with Darren Elkins’ unanimous decision victory over Diego Brandao, but also featured Jamie Varner’s stunning upset of Edson Barboza, Jr., C.B. Dollaway’s victory over Jason “Mayhem” Miller, and was kicked off by Dan Hardy’s jaw crushing knockout of Duane “Bang” Ludwig.
The UFC 146 prelims was the fifth such broadcast on FX since the UFC partnered up with the Fox family of networks at the beginning of the year. The five preliminary broadcasts on FX have averaged 1.34 million viewers per event.
UFC on FX 1 and UFC on FX 2 fell right in that same ratings range, drawing 1.3 million and 1.4 million viewers respectively.
The FX broadcasts high point thus far is 1.6 million viewers for the UFC 145 prelims in April.
