Coming off of the first loss of his career after suffering an injury during his bout with Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva, Travis Browne has been biding his time, all the while chomping at the bit to get back in the Octagon.
He finally makes his return at Saturday’s TUF 17 Finale in Las Vegas, where he faces Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt Gabriel Gonzaga.
Recently training with former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir, Browne feels like he’s paid his dues and put in the hard work, so that he’s prepared for what Gonzaga has to offer.
“Camp is always the hardest thing, the fight is the fun time,” said Browne on Thursday.
