Transcript of UFC-Blocked Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier Off-Air Threatening Exchange

The blow-up between UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and his UFC 178 challenger, Daniel Cormier, just keeps growing in stature.

The two came to fisticuffs on stage at a recent PR event in Las Vegas, but later went back to the media to explain the altercation being a heat of the moment type of scenario. But on Friday, video footage surfaced of the two in an explicit and threatening off-air exchange just prior to an appearance on ESPN’s SportsCenter.

While both have publicly apologized for their actions, and tried to put some spin on it, the off-air exchange gave new life to critiques that have described the initial incident as sophomoric and “bad for the sport.”

While several sources have plastered video the off-air exchange all over YouTube, the UFC has aggressively attempted to have said videos blocked on copyright grounds.

Cormier: It’s awesome. It’s unbelievable. Unbelievable.

Jones: The fact that you’re a pussy hasn’t changed.

Cormier: It’s unbelievable how fake you can really be. You’re such a f—ing pussy. My god. It is amazing. It’s amazing. But hat’s off to you because you have a great PR person. Because they have done a great job training you because you are just terrible. You are the f—ing scum of the earth. You are a terrible human being, but you can really turn it on, huh?

Jones: Thank you.

Cormier: I wish they would let me next door so I could spit in your f—ing face.

Jones: You know I would absolutely kill you if you ever did something like that, right?

Cormier: You could never, you could never kill me.

Jones: Oh, I bet you I could.

Cormier: You should try Jon. You really should try Jon.

Jones: No, I would literally kill you if you spit in my face.
