Brazilian Thomas Almeida (16-0 MMA) meets American Aaron Phillips (7-0 MMA) in the main event of Legacy FC 31.
Legacy Fighting Championship 31 takes place at Horseshoe Casino in Shreveport, Louisiana on June 20.
Almeida never put his fate into the judges hands as he has ended all his fights before the bell, fourteen of them already in round one. He makes his second appearance with Legacy FC promotion, in his debut the Brazilian TKO'd George Pacurario in round one at Legacy FC 26 in December, 2013. Then in his last fight on March 30 at MMASH- MMA Super Herous 3 he beat Vinicius Zani with a TKO victory in round four in Brazil. And don't forget the guy is only 22 years old!
Phillips will fight in front of his own crowd as he is from Louisiana. Louisiana is also where the American made his Legacy FC debut. Phillips never fought outside Louisiana, as also in his last fight he decisioned (split) Tyler Shinn at C3 Fights- Border Wars on February 8. Phillips trains at Louisiana Gladiators Academy.
