Alexander Gustafsson came up just short in a UFC title once again, dropping a split decision to Daniel Cormier in the main event of UFC 192. The loss in some ways echoed Gustafsson’s narrow UFC 165 loss to Jon Jones in his first crack at the title.
In the latest edition of The Speed Bag, MMAjunkie’s Ben Fowlkes discusses Gustafsson’s somewhat misleading record, which includes narrow losses to the only two men to hold the light heavyweight championship since Mar. 2011.
