Ufc LogoJoe Proctor and Al Iaquintana will meet in a lightweight battle between TUF Live veterans as part of the UFC 159 undercard on April 27 in New Jersey.

UFC officials announced the bout on Thursday.

Teammates on The Ultimate Fighter, Proctor and Iaquintana are each looking to shuck the monkey off his back, entering the bout off of a loss.

Proctor (8-2) made a big Octagon splash, knocking out Jeremy Larsen at the TUF Live Finale last June, but dropped a unanimous decision to Ramsey Nijem at UFC on Fox 5 in December.

He’ll try to bounce back against Iaquintana (5-2-1), who is still searching for his first UFC victory.

Iaquintana made it all the way to the finals of the reality series competition, but fell short of winning the six-figure contract.

Michael Chiesa choked Iaquintana out in at the TUF Live Finale, forcing him to regroup.

The two will fight on the UFC 159 undercard with light heavyweight champion Jon Jones putting his belt on the line against Chael Sonnen in the main event.
