Strikeforce Pre-Fight: Antonio ‘Bigfoot’ Silva Says Overeem Leaving the Tournament Disappointed Him

Antonio ‘Bigfoot’ Silva off his win over Fedor Emelianenko was looking forward to dethroning Strikeforce heavyweight champion Alistair Overeem in his next fight.

Unfortunately, Overeem left Strikeforce and is now in the UFC. Silva admits that his exit disappointed him, and that the tournament lost some of its luster with his exit, but his motivation to win is still the same.

Silva also says he hopes he meets Josh Barnett in the finals after a very public feud between the two heavyweights.
