There is a misconception about Silva’s loss in his match against Okami.  Silva was never defeated; he was disqualified for landing an illegal up-kick that prevented Okami from continuing. Considering the way it happened, you can tell Silva wants some revenge.

Since that loss, Silva has won 14 straight fights where seven of those ended in some sort of knockout.  Silva is easily the best UFC fighter pound by pound out there and I don’t see how Yushin will be anything but another W on his resume.

Okami is the kind of guy who will take this fight to the ground in order to win; he’s a stand and bang fighter who likes to also use his wrestling and judo to take the fight to the floor.  His problem is that Silva is at home with his crowd and according to UFC.com the Brazilian avoids 80% of the takedowns his opponents’ attempt.
