Rony Jason Suffered Broken Left Hand in TUF Brazil 3 Finale Loss to Robbie Peralta

Winner of the inaugural season of The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil, Rony Jason, suffered a broken left hand during his split decision loss to Robbie Peralta at The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 Finale in Sao Paulo on Saturday that will require surgery to repair.

“Rony Jason broke his hand and will have to undergo surgery,” said UFC executive Grace Tourinho during the event’s post-fight press conference.

Following the event, Jason posted a photo of the broken hand’s x-ray on his Instagram account confirming the injury.

“Open fracture at two minutes of the first round. Surgery, rehab and around three months to return,” he wrote.
