The UFC Fight Night 77: Belfort vs. Henderson 3 open workouts were cancelled on Wednesday due to weather.
Reporters on the scene in Sao Paulo, Brazil, started tweeting on Wednesday when torrential rains poured down on the open workout set-up. The open workouts were to be accessible by fans and media alike, but with rain drenching the scene, it was deemed unsafe to continue and officially cancelled, according to veteran MMAFighting reporter Guilherme Cruz.
Friday’s weigh-ins and fan question & answer session, as well as Saturday’s fights are not in any danger, however, as they are all slated to take place indoors at Ibirapuera Gymnasium.
