Queensland’s Own Kyle Noke Faces Seth Baczynski at UFC on FX 6 in Australia

Kyle NokeWith UFC on FX 6 taking place in Broadbeach, Queensland, Australia on Dec. 15, local fans will be pleased to note that Queensland’s own Kyle Noke has been added to the fight card to face Seth Baczynski.

UFC officials confirmed the bout to MMAWeekly.com on Wednesday.

“Fighting on the Gold Coast is a dream come true,” said Noke. “When I found out that the UFC was holding an event in Queensland, where I started my MMA career, I wanted to fight at this event more than anything. I asked the UFC to include me on this card and am grateful for the chance to fight in my home state.  I cannot wait to get into the Octagon against Seth and do my family, friends and country proud.”

Both Noke and Baczynski are coming off of victories on the Facebook streamed preliminary bouts of UFC 152 recently held in Toronto.

Noke opened the show with a 45-second TKO victory over Charlie Brenneman, while Baczynski knocked out Simeon Thoresen just before the end of round one of their bout.

UFC on FX 6 will be headlined by TUF The Smashes coaches George Sotiropoulos and Ross Pearson squaring off. Other bouts will feature the The Smashes finals and Rousimar Palhares vs. adopted Aussie Hector Lombard.
