Prospects Gunnar Nelson and Jimi Manuwa Get Opponents to Finalize UFC on Fuel 5 Card

Two top prospects will make their debuts coming up in England this September and now both Gunnar Nelson and Jimi Manuwa have their opponents.

Both bouts take place at UFC on Fuel TV 5 set for Nottingham, England on Sept 29.

Nelson comes to the UFC as a grappling prodigy under legendary teacher Renzo Gracie, while also looking for his tenth consecutive victory.

Welcoming Nelson to the Octagon will be Pascal Krauss, who will look to bounce back from a loss in his last fight to John Hathaway in May.

Also added to the upcoming UFC on Fuel TV 5 card is a light heavyweight bout between undefeated British slugger Jimi Manuwa and former Ultimate Fighter competitor Kyle Kingsbury.

Manuwa is considered one of the top prospects in the British fight scene, and famously turned down two previous offers from the UFC to continue his own development so he could truly be ready when he made his Octagon debut.

Now he believes the timing is right and he’ll make his first appearance in the UFC as he faces Kyle Kingsbury in his home country of England.
