Pics, videos: Cung Le, Michael Bisping head to Asia for pre-UFC Fight Night 48 tour

Later this summer, middleweight veterans Michael Bisping and Cung Le head to Macau for headlining duties at UFC Fight Night 48. The promotional push began this week.

The fighters recently embarked on an Asian media tour to hype the event, which takes place Aug. 23 at The Venetian Macao’s CotaiArena.

In addition to Bisping (24-6 MMA, 14-6 UFC) vs. Le (9-2 MMA, 2-1 UFC), the event, which is expected to stream on UFC Fight Pass, also includes welterweight contenders Hector Lombard (34-4-1 MMA, 3-2 UFC) vs. Dong Hyun Kim (19-2-1 MMA, 10-2 UFC).

Macau, a special administrative region of China, first hosted a UFC event in November 2012, when Le knocked out Rich Franklin in the headliner. The organization returned to the popular tourist destination in March 2014, when Kim knocked out John Hathaway in the night’s main event.
