SOUTHAVEN, Miss. – The co-main event of Bellator’s first pay-per-view was not without controversy on Saturday night.

Heavy favorite Michael Chandler, a former lightweight champ, was upset by tournament winner Will Brooks, who took a split decision to become the promotion’s interim lightweight champion.

Brooks lost the first two rounds on all three judges’ scorecards. But a dominant third round started to turn things around, and he got a 10-8 nod from one judge.

But in many eyes, the fight came down to the fifth round – which many believed Chandler won. However, only one judge agreed, and Brooks walked away with a split-decision win.

Take a look at the scorecards from the fight, which took place at Bellator 120 at Landers Center in Southaven, Miss., just south of Memphis.

What do you think? Did the judges get it right?
