ONE FC: Honor & Glory Card Complete with Addition of Final Three Bouts

ONE FC 16_Honor and Glory Fight PosterONE FC: Honor & Glory is set for the Singapore Indoor Stadium next month. It will consist of 11 fights with three more bouts announced on Tuesday, including the return of Eddie Ng and the promotional debut of Jadamba Narantungalag.

Ng (7-1) is one of ONE FC’s rising stars and has won four fights out of four under the banner of Asia’s biggest MMA promotion. He was initially scheduled to face Kamal Shalorus on May 30, but the Iranian pulled out and has been replaced by Vincent Latoel.

Latoel (14-14-2) has an advantage in terms of experience, but the Dutchman has not been on quite the same sort of sensational form as his opponent, registering a win and a loss in his two ONE FC bouts to date.

Jadamba (8-3) was the Legend FC 155-pound champion and went on an eight-fight win streak in which he beat the likes of Yui Chul Nam, Adrian Pang, Kasunori Yokota and Akihiro Gono before a nasty injury brought a premature end to his most recent title defense last April.

The broken angle kept the Mongolian K-1 veteran out of action for almost a year, but he recently signed with ONE FC and will be dropping down to featherweight for the first time to take on former 145-pound champion Honorio Banario.

Banario (8-3) has an identical record to Jadamba’s and is also coming off a defeat in a title match, meaning that both fighters are at a very similar stage of their careers, although the Filipino is 14 years the junior of the former Legend FC champion.

No Gi grappling world champion Bruno Pucci got his ONE FC career off to the perfect start with a win over the previously undefeated Bashir Ahmad in Jakarta last year and was initially set to face Brace 145-pound champion Martin Nguyen in Singapore next month.

However, Nguyen suffered an infection, which means the undefeated Australian won’t be making his ONE FC debut just yet and instead Pucci (3-0) will face off against Japanese American BJJ purple belt Major Overall (4-1), who returns to the organization following a two-year absence.

ONE FC: Honor & Glory will be screened live all over Asia on Star Sports and the entire card is available to purchase online for 9.99 USD.
