After a series of late scratches, UFC officials have managed to salvage Sunday’s full UFC Fight Night 83 lineup.
UFC officials today announced newcomer Kelly Faszholz (3-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) has replaced injured Sarah Moras (4-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC) and now meets fellow women’s bantamweight Lauren Murphy (8-2 MMA, 0-2 UFC).
UFC Fight Night 83 takes place at Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh. Following early prelims, including Murphy vs. Faszholz, on UFC Fight Pass, the remainder of the card airs on FOX Sports 1.
Faszholz, who turned pro in 2013 but didn’t register another pro fight until 2015, is 3-0 with three submission wins. Her most recent win came over Brittney Elkin (2-3) in November.
Murphy, meanwhile, finds herself in a bit of a must-win situation. After coming to the UFC with a perfect career mark, she’s since suffered back-to-back decision losses to Liz Carmouche and Sara McMann.
The full UFC Fight Night 83 card now includes:
MAIN CARD (FOX Sports 1, 9 p.m. ET)
PRELIMINARY CARD (FOX Sports 1, 7 p.m. ET)
PRELIMINARY CARD (UFC Fight Pass, 5:15 p.m. ET)
