The show, which took place Dec. 11 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, was headlined by a one-sided main event between welterweight king Georges St. Pierre and Josh Koscheck (Pictured). The savvy champion used a jackhammer-like jab to break Koscheck’s orbital bone and close his right eye en route to an easy five-round decision. Koscheck received a 60-day suspension.
Also on the shelf for two months will be main card competitor Joe Stevenson, who fell victim to a beautiful Mac Danzig counter hook in the first round of their lightweight tilt.
Dan Miller, Joe Doerksen and Sean Pierson were all suspended for 45 days following hard-fought contests. The remainder of the event’s combatants received suspensions not longer than 30 days.
