Kevin James and Mayhem Miller in Here Comes the BoomHere Comes the Boom is the latest movie from actor and self-professed MMA fanatic Kevin James. The movie is about a high school biology teacher that looks to become a successful mixed martial arts fighter in an effort to raise money to prevent the music program from being discontinued at his cash-strapped school.

Here Comes the Boom is the first feature film that the UFC has allowed full use of its brand.

The movie was written by and stars James, and features Salma Hayek, Bas Rutten, and numerous real-life fighters such as Mark Munoz, Krzysztof Soszynski, Jason “Mayhem” Miller, and several others; as well as Joe Rogan, Mike Goldberg, Bruce Buffer, Stitch Duran, Herb Dean, Mark DellaGrotte, Ryan Parsons and more.

Kevin James and Bas Rutten sat down recently with Shameless MMA Radio Host and MMAWeekly.com Reporter Conner Cordova to talk about the movie, the UFC, and how it all came together.

Here Comes the Boom open Friday, Oct. 12, in theaters across the United States.
