Jose Aldo misses flight home after conclusion of UFC 189 World Tour

Jose Aldo has been on the road promoting his UFC 189 bout with Conor McGregor for almost two weeks, finishing up with an appearance in Dublin yesterday. Unfortunately for the UFC featherweight champion, he has missed his flight home and is stuck in the airport.

Aldo (25-1 MMA, 7-0 UFC) posted the news on his Instagram Wednesday evening.

The World Tour concluded its eight-city, five-country schedule yesterday in Dublin where Aldo was subjected to a barrage of insults from the rabidly pro-McGregor crowd. If that weren’t enough, McGregor snatched Aldo’s UFC title belt, forcing UFC President Dana White to intervene.

Now, a missed flight makes a long tour even longer for the champ.
