Invicta FC 13 official with three title fights headlining, including Justino vs. Van Duin

International Fight Week has added three more title fights as Invicta FC 13 will see the atomweight, bantamweight and featherweight titles all put on the line.

The card was originally announced for July 10 in Las Vegas, one day ahead of UFC 189, also in Las Vegas. However, Invicta FC announced via press release that the event will now take place on July 9.

Cristiane Justino (13-1) will defend her featherweight championship in the main event when she takes on Faith Van Duin (5-1). Van Duin made her Invicta FC debut in April, submitting Amanda Bell with a rear-naked choke in the second round at Invicta FC 12. Justino has won three straight fights in the promotion, all via TKO.

The vacant bantamweight title will be on the line when MMA veteran Tonya Evinger (15-5) takes on Irene Aldana (5-1). Aldana is on a two-fight winning streak, both fights taking place in the Invicta FC cage and ending in first round rear-naked choke submissions.

Evinger, a professional since 2006, is riding an impressive six-fight winning streak that includes three straight victories in the Invicta cage.

In the third title fight of the evening it will be atomweight champion Herica Tiburcio (9-2) putting her belt on the line against Ayaka Hamasaki (11-1). Tiburcio won the title last December, submitting Michelle Waterson with a guillotine choke in the third round.

Hamasaki is riding a two-fight winning streak after suffering her first career loss in July 2013.
