Much more widely know for his submission abilities at the time, Frank Mir surprised many with his third-round knockout of the “King of the Knockouts,” Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic at UFC 119.

Mir next steps into the Octagon at UFC 169 on Feb. 1, to face another man regarded for his knockout power, Alistair Overeem.
