Carlos Condit and Benson Henderson have re-upped with the UFC, according to the fighters’ management. Both men have signed multi-fight contract extensions, First Round Management President Malki Kawa announced. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.

A former WEC champion, Condit has won four straight contests. After falling to Martin Kampmann via split decision in his Octagon debut, “The Natural Born Killer” has been perfect, notching wins over Jake Ellenberger, Rory MacDonald, Dan Hardy and Dong Hyun Kim. The 27-year-old has finished his last three opponents, earning either “Fight of the Night” or “Knockout of the Night” honors in each victory. Up next for Condit is a pivotal UFC 137 showdown with B.J. Penn on Oct. 29.

“I am honored to receive an extension before my next fight, as it shows the level of confidence the UFC has in me,” Condit said in the release. “I can’t wait to show the fans how much my training for this next fight has paid off.”

Also only 27, Henderson looks to be on the verge of UFC title contention. Another former WEC titleholder, “Smooth” has won 12 of his last 13 contests. After losing his WEC belt to Anthony Pettis at the organization’s final show in December, Henderson has looked sharp in his UFC career thus far, outpointing jiu-jitsu ace Mark Bocek in April and the surging Jim Miller in August.

“I am excited that I will have the opportunity to continue to compete in the UFC,” said Henderson. “I want to thank the UFC for believing in me and my abilities.”
