Flyweight Bout Pitting Louis Gaudinot vs. Phil Harris Added to UFC London Line-Up

A flyweight bout pitting Louis Gaudinot against Phil Harris has been added to the UFC Fight Night 37 line-up for the event slated for March 8 at the O2 Arena in London.

UFC officials announced the bout on Friday.

Both men enter the bout trying to get back on track after having lost two of their three most recent bouts.

Gaudinot (6-3) is coming off of a loss to Tim Elliott at UFC 164 in August. That loss derailed his hopes of edging his way into the flyweight title talk after he had submitted John Lineker in May.

Harris (22-11, 1 NC), in his most recent fight, lost to Lineker at UFC Fight Night 30 in London this past October.

It’s interesting to note that Harris got his shot in the Octagon at UFC on FX 5 in October of 2012 by stepping in for Gaudinot, who had to withdraw from a fight with Darren Uyenoyama due to injury.

A pivotal light heavyweight bout between Alexander Gustafsson and Jimi Manuwa headlines the UFC Fight Night 37 card, the winner of which steps to the head of the line for a shot at the belt.
