Bellator bantamweight champion Eduardo Dantas will defend his belt against former featherweight titlist Joe Warren in the main event of Bellator 118.

The promotion Monday announced the booking, which takes place May 2 at Revel Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, N.J. The show’s main card will air live on Spike TV, with the undercard being streamed via Spike.com.

Dantas is only one month removed from his last defense, which saw him dispose of challenger Anthony Leone in the second round with a brilliant rear-naked choke at Bellator 111. Warren has been out of action since November, when he knocked out Travis Marx to win Bellator’s ninth-season bantamweight tourney and secure his shot at a second title.

Also confirmed for the May 2 card is a rescheduled welterweight tournament semifinal between Andrey Koreshkov and Sam Oropeza. The pair was set to meet last Friday at Bellator 115, but the fight was called off when Koreshkov came down with the flu.

Rounding out the Bellator 118 main card is a bantamweight attraction pitting former bantamweight contender Marcos Galvao against unbeaten Thomas Vasquez, as well as a battle of undefeated light heavyweights in Liam McGeary and Mike Mucitelli.
