UFC officials announced that Belfort will face middleweight champion Chris Weidman in the main event of UFC 181 on Dec. 6 in Las Vegas; the card will air on pay-per-view. The matchup was originally scheduled to take place at UFC 174, but numerous complications wound up scrapping the fight.
Two bookmakers have released their opening lines for the freshly-announced bout between “All American” and “The Phenom,” and both have listed Weidman as the betting favorite.
According to BestFightOdds.com , the broker 5Dimes.eu currently lists Weidman as the favorite at -425 or 4/17, while Sportbet.com puts the odds at -407 or nearly 4/1. On the opposite end, Belfort is getting play at +305 and +323.
